|To allow the student to gain the confidence required with the provision of advanced CPR techniques, management of casualty, airway and provision of oxygen. This unit incorporates the content of units: HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.

|To allow the Student to gain the confidence required when dealing with an adult or child casualty, when the application of an Epi-pen is required. Teaches the knowledge and skills required to safely use the Epi-pen.

|This training is suitable for individuals/companies/organisations and will provide participants with the competencies to administer supplementary oxygen to a casualty and ancillary oxygen equipment. This includes butis not limited to:

|This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in line with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid to a casualty in a remote and/or isolated situation.
Following completion HLTAID011 Provide first aid additional day is required for completion of this topic
