HLTAID010 Provide basic life support This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to recognise and respond to life threatening emergencies using basic life support measures only.
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance
HLTSS00068 Occupational First Aid Skill Set This training is suitable for individuals, companies and organisations and will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to make them confident and competent to perform the roles and responsibilities of an Occupational First Aider as defined by state or territory legislation. Includes first aid and additional modules including Oxygen equipment and defibrillation.
HLTAID014 Provide advanced first aid To allow the student to gain the confidence required with the provision of advanced first aid response, life support, management of casualty(s), the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance, and provision of support to others providers. This unit incorporates the content of units: HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support and HLTAID011 Provide First Aid.
HLTAID015 Provide Advanced Resuscitation & Oxygen Therapy To allow the student to gain the confidence required with the provision of advanced CPR techniques, management of casualty, airway and provision of oxygen. This unit incorporates the content of units: HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
 Asthma  and Anaphylaxis  combined To allow the Student to gain the confidence required when dealing with an adult or child casualty, when the application of an Epi-pen is required. Teaches the knowledge and skills required to safely use the Epi-pen.
Course Set – 22575VIC Course in Basic Oxygen Administration for First Aid (incl. HLTAID009) This training is suitable for individuals/companies/organisations and will provide participants with the competencies to administer supplementary oxygen to a casualty and ancillary oxygen equipment. This includes butis not limited to:
– Assess casualty and develop management plan
– Checking Oxygen Equipment
– Maintain unobstructed airway and resuscitate casualty
– Use oxygen to provide therapy
– Recover and restore Equipment
HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in line with Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines.
HLTAID013 – Provide First Aid in Remote or Isolated Site

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid to a casualty in a remote and/or isolated situation.

Following completion HLTAID011 Provide first aid additional day is required for completion of this topic

HLTAID016 Manage First Aid Services & Resources

This unit addresses the establishment and maintenance of facilities to enable or facilitate the provision of appropriate first aid in the workplace. The skills and knowledge described in this competency units are suitable for those nominated in workplace first aid roles such as first aid stations. This courses was previously called Occupational first aid
